Cabo, Class & Camels: A Fashion Travel Guide

Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean the time for traveling and experiencing new cultures is over.

That’s right, darling, you can still take that vacation and Runway Diva has the perfect destination in mind for you. Mexico, Cabo to be exact.

Cabo, also known as Los Cabos is made up of two towns: Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The region is one of the hottest vacation spots south of the border.

This city of paradise is considered a big-budget vacation spot but it is worth it because the city is known for its beaches, nightlife, recreational activities for tourists, and architecture.

Diva’s Recommended Activities

With so much to do, make sure you visit El Arco de Cabo, Cabo San Lucas’ natural landmark. The arc is a popular tourist attraction because of its distinctive shape and because it is the meeting point for the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.

To sweeten the deal, you have the opportunity to take close-up pictures while touring the area in a boat, swimming, or walking on Lovers Island’s beach, which is adjacent to the arch.

Other activities that should make your to-do list are Day Party on a Yacht and a Cactus tour, a private one if possible.

The Day Party was all-inclusive with complimentary food and unlimited mimosas. You’ll also have a magnificent sightseeing experience, and of course, music to set the scene.

On this private tour, you will ride a camel from the desert to the beach where photographers will be waiting to take your picture. So make sure you slay, darling.

In addition to the planned excursions, she always leaves time for content photoshoots for her brand.

But darling, before you can enjoy these beautiful scenes, you have to plan your trip first. Runway Diva has some helpful tips to help make that process simpler.

Wardrobe & Accommodations

When looking for a place to stay during your vacation in Cabo, you’ll likely find that your options are between a hotel on the Marina and a hotel on a beach-front resort. While the latter may seem like the obvious choice, Runway Diva found that there are some benefits from staying at a hotel on the marina:

  •  Accessibility to your planned excursions: Many travel agencies use marinas as a meeting point for their planned activities
  •  You’ll be in close proximity to many of the top resorts and popular chain restaurants.

After booking your hotel the time comes to plan your outfits. While in this tropical desert it is best to stick to resort wear. Some outfit ideas that will have you slaying in comfort are:

  • A floor length, high-slpit sheer maxidress. (Her ensemble for the Day Party)
    • A Note from Runway Diva: “To stand out I usually go to high luxury local boutiques rather than corporate stores.”
  • Vibrant yellow two-piece set from Pink Plastic Boutique (Her ensemble for the Camel Tour)
  • Gold metallic monokini from a local boutique, a white cape blazer from Pretty Little Things, and gold Giuseppe Cruel stiletto. (Her ensemble for the content photoshoot)
